Privacy policy.
Who we are
CratX is a brand of Cshore Limited. When this policy says “we”, it means CratX. For anything about your data, write to hello@cratx.io.
What we collect
Only what you give us, and only for the reason you gave it.
- When you write to us: your name, email, company if you add it, your message and the topic you picked.
- When you join Field notes or a waitlist: your email, and which list you joined.
- Free checks: nothing. Your answers stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
- Your theme choice: light or dark is saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
- Server logs: our host records basic technical data, like IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and arrange a conversation.
- To send Field notes or a waitlist email, only if you asked for them.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We rely on your consent for emails you sign up to, and on our legitimate interest in answering messages and running a secure website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled only by the services that run this site, such as our web host and email provider, under their own data protection terms.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation, and no longer than 24 months unless we start working together. You can unsubscribe from any email list at any time, and we remove you from it.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page does not send your data to a font service.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@cratx.io and we will act promptly.
We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. If you are in the UK or the European Union, you have the rights set out in the GDPR. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
